5 Year Anniversary

2023 marked the 5th year of operation for APS Industrial. Our drive to serve local industry with solutions that provide a competitive advantage and contribute to a high performing industry has never been stronger.

FEBRUARY

Expanded Stock Holdings

The expansion of our local stockholding capabilities via an additional facility in Melbourne further enabled us to get what our customers need to them, when and where they need it.

MARCH

Siemens Software Agreement

In March, APS Industrial expanded its Siemens distribution, offering virtual commissioning software. Enabling digital twin capabilities for customers using Siemens’ integrated hardware and software.

APRIL

Hannover Delegation

Our national manufacturing partners led the way at this year’s Hannover Messe which featured core themes of AI & Machine Learning, Energy Management and Industry 4.0.

MAY

Weidmüller AC Smart Launch

Weidmüller launched their AC Smart family of EV chargers which are exclusive to APS, ideal for private and commercial use and available in three models.

JUNE

Celebrating Women in Industry Event

This event celebrated the contributions of women in our industry, featuring keynotes from women who overcame the odds to be pioneering leaders.

JULY

Fighting fire with innovative automation

The world’s first fully automated fire-retardant loading system for aircrafts has sped up loading time by around 50% ensuring aircrafts can get to fires quicker.

AUGUST

Manufacturing Centre Launch

APS in partnership with Siemens launched our Manufacturing Centre in Adelaide, forming a national benchmark and featuring a world first in Siemens ACB customisation and adaptation!

SEPTEMBER

Advancing Industry Showcase

Our AIS tour continued its way across Australia providing a setting for local customers to inspire, connect and accelerate the adoption of digital transformation technology.

OCTOBER

NESMA Conference

In October, we sponsored the NESMA conference in Queensland, fostering industry collaboration and showcasing cutting-edge solutions for electrical professionals.

Beyond 1%

As part of Adelaide German Week, Siemens hosted a customer event at our Adelaide site, delving into the state’s pivotal role in meeting national and global Net Zero targets.

EPLAN Agreement

APS announced its appointment as agent for EPLAN in Australia. EPLAN is a world-leading platform of computer-aided engineering design software tools for machine, plant and panel builders.
